They explored the essential skills that drive professional success and discussed their perspectives on the evolving landscape of workforce leadership. As part of the New York Jobs CEO Council’s CEO Speaker Series, Mr. Griggs and President Anderson also highlighted how PwC is creating inclusive pathways to opportunity, empowering all New Yorkers to thrive in their careers.

About Paul Griggs

A nearly 30-year PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) veteran, Paul Griggs has advised and supported companies through significant change, such as transformations, public offerings, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Prior to being elected U.S. senior partner, Griggs served as vice chair of U.S. Markets, overseeing the strategy and execution of the firm’s commercial, people, community, and quality efforts across more than 90 offices. He has also served as the banking and capital markets leader; managing partner for the New York Metro region, PwC’s largest office and geography; and financial services assurance leader in the Carolinas.

Passionate about building skills and opportunities for all, Griggs served as the business sponsor and co-leader of My+, the U.S. firm’s people strategy that empowers its 75,000 people to develop and grow their careers and includes upskilling the entire workforce on AI.

He sits on the governing board and Financial Oversight Committee of the Center for Audit Quality as well as the board of the Partnership for New York City. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Jobs CEO Council.

Outside of work, Griggs is a proud husband and dedicated father of three. He enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring the great outdoors in his leisure time.
