Faculty Research Seminar: Koppelman School of Business

April 29 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

The faculty from the departments of Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship will showcase their expertise and pioneering research.

The Koppelman School of Business Faculty Research Seminars are designed to cultivate intellectual exchange among the institution’s faculty, scholars from business programs in New York City, and visiting academics, with an emphasis on exploring areas of mutual scholarly and intellectual inquiry. These seminars offer a venue for faculty to engage in sustained, rigorous intellectual collaboration and facilitate the exploration and advancement of novel research trajectories and pedagogical methodologies through a series of regularly scheduled meetings. The seminars are intended to provide robust support for faculty in the furtherance of their research agendas, while simultaneously fostering collaborative synergy and building a scholarly community around these endeavors. Key objectives include augmenting faculty research output and scholarly contributions, enhancing publication rates through the presentation of works-in-progress, examining complex issues that transcend disciplinary boundaries, promoting collaborative scholarship, and inviting eminent visiting scholars to disseminate their insights. The Faculty Research Seminar is an initiative sponsored by the Office of the Dean at the Koppelman School of Business.
