On September 24, We Stand Against Hate will host Hussein Ibish and David N. Myers, who will speak on “How Did We Get Here and Where Can We Go? On the History and Future of Israel and Palestine.”
Ibish is a senior resident scholar at the Arab Gulf States Institute. A regular contributor to The Atlantic and author of three major studies on discrimination and hate crimes against Arab Americans, Ibish previously served as senior fellow at the American Task Force on Palestine.
Distinguished Professor of History David N. Myers holds the Sady and Ludwig Kahn Chair in Jewish History at UCLA. He is the author of five books, editor of 12 others, founding director of the UCLA Luskin Center for History and Policy, and director of the UCLA Initiative to Study Hate.
Ibish and Myers will discuss the history of Israel and Palestine, its present moment, and hopes for the future.
