“Unseen” Film Screening

October 8 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Join us for a special screening of Unseen, an impactful documentary by Set Hernandez, a filmmaker and community organizer rooted in Bicol, Philippines. Unseen follows the life of Pedro, a blind, undocumented immigrant aspiring to become a social worker, as he navigates the intersections of immigration, disability, and mental health. The film’s innovative use of experimental cinematography and sound reimagines the accessibility of cinema, offering a transformative viewing experience.

Following the screening, Hernandez will join us via Zoom for a Q&A session to discuss the themes of the film and its relevance in today’s society.
