Brooklyn College’s Department of Television, Radio & Emerging Media, working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), have organized a one-day conference/workshop open to all interested Brooklyn College and CUNY students, faculty, and staff across the disciplines.
IOM’s mission is to build and maintain shelter for migrating populations worldwide. Expertise in many intersecting disciplines is required to successfully carry out this crucial humanitarian work. If you would like to know more about IOM, and about how your interest and expertise could be useful, please register to be part of this free one-day conference/workshop on November 1 at 25 Broadway in lower Manhattan and find out more about the opportunities available for work in this humanitarian sector, and to brainstorm with us ways to assist in IOM’s communications and media outreach. Lunch is provided and space will be limited so please register early HERE.
