For a Safe and Healthy World: Talk by a Nuclear-Bomb Survivor

Masako Wada, a “Hibakusha” (atomic-bomb survivor), will share her firsthand experience of the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. Her goal is to initiate a dialogue for a safe, healthy world for generations to come. Wada is assistant secretary general, Nihon Hidankyo (the Japan Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations, which received the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize).

A reception with light refreshments will follow at 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
