As a business management major, you may choose from five minors, including small business management and urban entrepreneurship. You will learn about starting and financing a small business, small business marketing and advertising, financial and cash management, and using the web as a profitable business tool.
Declaring a minor allows you to explore other areas of interest and make interdisciplinary connections, and minors complement your study of business management. By declaring a minor, you can set yourself apart as a candidate for job opportunities such as owner/founder of a business, CEO, director of operations, managing director, or technical director.
