Program Overview

With a minor in Italian translation, you will build upon your strong grasp of Italian toward interpretation and translation for a wide variety of professions and texts.

Where You'll Go

A minor in translation serves as a practice-based supplement to a B.A., B.S., or B.F.A. degree and may also be of interest to students with a passion for languages and the humanities. With this minor, you will set yourself apart as a candidate for a variety of interpretation work, from medical texts to literature to apps and video game localization, to name just a few.

  • ITAL 3240 Translation for the Professions
