As a physics student, you will explore how basic natural phenomena occur and learn the skills needed to solve practical, real-world problems. Physicists study natural phenomena in the universe, which is crucial to understanding the world around us. This minor can be useful in a variety of careers, including robotics, scientific computing, aerospace engineering, and teaching.
Declaring a minor allows you to explore other areas of interest and make interdisciplinary connections. With a background and training in physics, you can set yourself apart for work in professions including material science, software development, and biochemistry, to name just a few.

Physics 1100 or 1150; Physics 2100 or 2150; Math 1201.
At least 12 credits of advanced electives in physics. All courses must be completed at Brooklyn College with a grade of C- or better.
