When you minor in psychology, you will get to explore your fascination with human behavior and the human mind. Whether you want to understand cognitive processes, social behavior, human development, or health and clinical psychology, you’ll find our Psychology Department a stimulating environment that will help you pursue careers in many fields.
Your psychology training will set you apart as a candidate in positions across corporate, nonprofit, and educational sectors. The minor also prepares you for graduate study in psychology or a related discipline.

At least 12 credits of advanced electives in psychology with a grade of C- or higher in each course. A minimum of nine of these credits must be completed at Brooklyn College. Psychology minors are urged to consult with departmental counselors to plan an appropriate sequence of courses.
