President Anderson’s Biography Brooklyn College Strategic Plan 2018–2023 Presidential Lecture Series
Michelle J. Anderson discussed Agenda 2030 with the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.
Already known for offering high-quality educational opportunities of great value, the college is also a vital economic engine for the region.
College is no. 1 overall for ethnic diversity for seventh straight year and no. 8 for social mobility, among other key indicators.
Michelle J. Anderson was named president of Brooklyn College in 2016. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a J.D. from Yale Law School, and an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center.

The president is the highest-ranking officer at Brooklyn College, responsible for maintaining educational standards and advancing the academic mission of the college. The president serves as an adviser to and executive agent of the CUNY chancellor on campus.
