The Claire Tow ’52 Distinguished Teacher Award
Namita Manohar, Sociology
This award ($10,000) was established through a generous gift from Leonard Tow ’50, in honor of his wife, Claire Tow ’52. It will be presented to a full-time faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding teaching effectiveness, mastery and creative application of pedagogic techniques, and dedication to helping students achieve the highest academic standards.

This award ($5,000) will be presented to a full-time faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding teaching effectiveness.
Award for Excellence in Teaching for Part-Time Faculty
Sue-Ann Lallay, Psychology
This award ($5,000) will be presented to a part-time (adjunct) faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding teaching effectiveness.
Award for Excellence in Creative Achievement
