Where do we learn what to expect and accept in our relationship? What are the ways to build towards relationships that are healthy, nourishing and supportive? Participants will be invited to discuss what they want relationships in their own lives to look like, what boundaries allow them to feel supported, and what communicating those needs could look like in their own lives.
Drop by and say hello, 227 Ingersoll Hall Extension.

What does it mean to fail? Why are we so terrified of failure? This workshop explores our ideas around success and failure, the social and cultural forces that shape those ideas, and the costs those ideas bear on us. The stakes of failure are particularly high for Asian Americans, and this workshop explores the burden of constantly feeling like a failure and how we might opt out—perhaps by leaning into failure and not having our shit together at all times.
Sponsors: Wolfe Institute; Women’s Center; Office of Diversity and Equity Programs
Join a community of Muslim women students at BC to pave the way for personal success and empowerment.
Rooted in social justice, D’Lo brings the fierce with the funny through his stories and stand-up comedy about being a queer/trans person raised within an immigrant family and community, as well as his stories about being an artist who was schooled by hip-hop, feminists, and queer artist elders.
Drop in and connect with other students to discuss daily issues we experience as women. Together, we will create a safe space to lean on each other for support, guidance, and relief as we move through the months ahead.

Meet three women of color—all CUNY alumae—who have mobilized their constituents and won a primary election for a fair and just city.
Let’s challenge the prevailing doomsday views of the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic by highlighting the role of women of color, often the most marginalized, and how they are capitalizing on the opportunities to organize their communities and re-envision the crisis during this unprecedented time. Join us as these speak about their experiences and visions for New York City and CUNY, where COVID-19 continues to be ever-present.
Panelist will include:
The pandemic has brought us all to the portal of letting go of the past and living with open arms, allowing for openness and vulnerability and possibility, and accepting what is while still hoping to create the impossible. Letting go isn’t about eliminating desire, ambition, or hope, but about un-attaching ourselves from those hopes, about no longer clinging to a sense of control, about no longer seeing the world in a linear way. When we cling to the hope of a “better future,” we long for a sense of control that has never and will never exist. This workshop, led by Janice Lee (published writer, teacher, shamanic healer) and author of Imagine a Death, will consist of a guided meditation, a freewriting session, and a communal ceremony (that will be finished on your own). Please bring a small object that represents what you need to let go of, or a small stone, that will be buried in the ground after the workshop.
