April 2020 Congratulations to Film Department alum Takeshi Fukunaga, whose second feature film Ainu Mosir was awarded a Special Jury Mention as part of the International Narrative Competition at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival. March 2020 Takeshi Fukunaga, a graduate of the BC Film program, will premiere his second feature film Ainu Mosir at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival as part of the International Narrative Competition. February 2020 Astrid Perez’s thesis fiction film, winner of multiple awards at our 2019 Brooklyn College Film Festival, is currently at the Miami Film Festival. Ali Reza Khoshkjan’s thesis documentary is now live / broadcast on CUNY-Commons, and CUNY-TV. It won the Best Editing Award at the 2019 Brooklyn College Film Festival.
