A minor in public health will prepare you well for a health-related graduate program or public health career. Through foundational courses in public health and epidemiology, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and skills to understand and improve health at the individual, group, and population levels.
Declaring a minor allows you to explore other areas of interest and make interdisciplinary connections. With a background and training in public health, your education will prepare you well for rewarding careers in public policy, hospitals, community centers, and many other arenas.

The minor in public health introduces students to the field in preparation for graduate study and/or public health–related careers.
