The Brooklyn College Cancer Center (BCCC-CURE) will host the first Brooklyn Blood Cancers Symposium in the library’s Woody Tanger Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organized by the Brooklyn College Cancer Center (BCCC-CURE), Memorial Medical Care, PC, & Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCCC ), with the collaboration of Maimonides Cancer Center, New York Cancer & Blood Specialists and Brooklyn Cancer Center, as well as SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, the event will bring together approximately 70 researchers, clinicians, doctors, and students.
The scientific and clinical component of the symposium will include research and clinical talks, as well as workshops for undergraduate students on educational opportunities at BCCC-CURE and MSKCCC and prospective careers in hematology and oncology. The luncheon will allow for networking between medical doctors, students, and other special guests.
