Abraham Bunis celebrated his 91st birthday in August 2020. He says that his life has been enriched by Brooklyn College, his U.S. Army service, 46 years working in the food sales field, five years of handyman work, a master’s degree in dispute resolution, 15 years of mediation in the courts, and 15 years of arbitration for the New York Stock Exchange and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Richard Weintraub says, “I didn’t write a book. I haven’t been named to any great list of people.” But he did serve nine years in the U.S. Air Force on a combat crew, taught at a university, and ran for local office and won. He is retired and enjoys being a grandparent. Says Weintraub, “It all started when I was 16 and a freshman at Brooklyn College. I had a superb education. Thank you, Brooklyn College.”

Elliot Blau, D.O., has been in family practice since 1970 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Before that, he was in the medical corps of the U.S. Army.

Michael Goldberg has retired after teaching, researching, and being a senior academic administrator at the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business for more than four decades. He continues to serve on boards of directors, particularly with real estate development and investment companies, an area he focused on as an academic. He served three terms as director of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) and subsequently was chair of Liberty Living Group Plc, a U.K.-based student housing company wholly owned by CPPIB.
