Learning another language is one of the most valuable skills you can possess. As a Spanish translation minor, you will be able to facilitate communication between English and Spanish speakers. This program will increase your knowledge and understanding of the Spanish world and complement your chosen major with international perspectives.

By declaring a minor, you can set yourself apart as a candidate for job opportunities in international affairs, business, government, and teaching, and can pursue a graduate degree in a variety of fields. The minor in Spanish translation will demonstrate your competence in a world language and culture, which is vital to employment in today’s global economy.

  • SPAN 3240 Translation for the Professions
