Application Guide

Your application to a master’s degree program, advanced certificate program, and nondegree study are managed by the Office of Graduate Admissions. We welcome your application if you hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited domestic or international postsecondary institution.

  • All supporting documents can be uploaded onto the online application as you complete the online application. Do not send any supporting documents before completing the online application. Sending documents before completing the application increases the chances of your documents not being matched correctly to your application. If your application is already submitted, email remaining supporting documents.
  • You may apply to only one program for each semester. If your application is denied, then you may be allowed to apply to another program.
  • Your recommendations should be submitted online through the application system or by emailing the recommendations. Be sure to provide your recommenders’ email address when completing your application if you want them to send their recommendation electronically.
  • Only complete applications are forwarded to academic departments for review.
  • Application documents vary by program. You are advised to review your program’s requirements.

Application Fee

A nonrefundable $75 application fee is required of all applicants. You can pay your application fee by credit card when you submit your online application or mail a check or money order to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Make checks or money orders payable to Brooklyn College. Nondegree applicants pay the fee upon acceptance.
