The Office of Diversity and Equity recognizes the unique strength of our multicultural, multiracial, and multigenerational campus and the importance of continuing to build on the great advantage it offers the Brooklyn College community. The office is working with the campus community to develop programs, trainings, and events to combat bigotry and other biases wherever they arise.
In order to ensure a safe environment for all members of our community, the Office of Diversity and Equity investigates and addresses complaints involving discrimination and sexual misconduct. For more information on CUNY’s Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy, the investigation process, Student Bill of Rights, and other related topics, visit the Office of Diversity and Equity.
Along with guiding each student to achieve their own personal and academic success, the Division of Student Affairs is a nexus of student support services and student diversity initiatives at Brooklyn College.
The Office of Human Resources continues its commitment to recruitment diversity at Brooklyn College.
The Robert S. Matthews Center for Teaching and Learning provides faculty with resources and tools, a forum for the exchange of ideas and practices, development of curricula, program improvement, and pedagogical innovation with a emphasis on resources for inclusive and anti-racist pedagogy.
