Professor of Political Science from the School of School of Humanities and Social Sciences Paisley Currah was selected as a fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey for the 2024-25 academic year. A member of the School of Social Science there, Currah will work on his new book project, Legislating Gender.

Currah will also be a featured speaker at a groundbreaking symposium, “Exploring the Many Dimensions of Sex and Gender in the Genomics Era,” at the National Human Genome Research Institute of the National Institutes of Health in July.  Currah will speak on the history of sex categorization and the genome.
