Courses dropped on or after the first day of the semester/session can incur a tuition liability charge. This charge will be a certain percentage of the course tuition, depending on the drop date.
If you intend to drop one course and add another in its place:
Failure to attend courses or drop courses in a timely manner can result in the following grades, which all carry 100% tuition liability:
Note: Students will incur tuition liability charges for courses swapped from summer session I to summer session II on or after the first day of summer session I (May 28). * There is no 25% liability period for the summer sessions. Tuition liability charges for courses dropped on or after the first day of the summer session start at 50%.
Note: Students will incur tuition liability charges for courses swapped from the winter intersession to spring term on or after the first day of the winter intersession (January 2, 2024).

Summer session one (June 1–July 7) and combined session (June 1–August 18) courses must be dropped by May 31 to avoid any tuition liability charges.
Summer session two (July 13–August 18) courses must be dropped by July 12 to avoid any tuition liability charges.

If you intend on dropping one course and adding another in its place:
Courses must be dropped prior to May 31 in order to avoid any tuition liability charges (100% refund for payments already completed). Courses dropped after this date can incur 50–100% liability charges according to the drop date.
Courses must be dropped prior to July 13 in order to avoid any tuition liability charges (100% refund for payments already completed). Courses dropped after this date will incur 50–100% liability charges based on the drop date.
*Payment due dates are calculated from the date of your first registration transaction. A change of program (adding, dropping, or swapping a class) does not change the payment due date.
**You do not incur any financial liability if you drop a course prior to the college’s scheduled first day of classes. There will be financial liability for courses dropped on or after the first day of classes.
Failure to pay tuition and fees by the due date could result in the cancellation of registration requests.

Due to the extenuating circumstances from the blizzard on January 27, the 100% refund period is extended to Sunday, February 1, at 11:59 p.m. The 75% refund period is only in effect for Monday, February 2, and Tuesday, February 3. As scheduled, the 50% refund period will commence on Wednesday, February 4.
April 15 is the last day to submit tuition waivers or vouchers for spring 2015.
