September 2016 September 29: Assistant professors Ryan Murelli and Emilio Gallicchio publish “Free Energy-Based Virtual Screening and Optimization of RNase H Inhibitors of HIV-1 Reverse Transcriptase” in ACS Omega. September 29: Assistant Professor Emilio Gallicchio publishes “A Combined Treatment of Hydration and Dynamical Effects for the Modeling of Host-Guest Binding Thermodynamics: The SAMPL5 Blinded Challenge” in Journal of Computer-Aided Molecular Design. September 1: Assistant Professor Gallicchio and a team of CUNY investigators were awarded a joint CUNY Interdisciplinary Research grant for a research project titled “A Combined Treatment of Hydration and Dynamical Effects for the Modeling of Protein-Ligand Binding Thermodynamics.” August 2016 August 21: Professor Alexander Greer and Andrés H. Thomas of National University of La Plata, Argentina were awarded a joint CONICET-NSF grant for a research project titled “Pointsource Photodynamic Therapy Using Pterins and Photosensitizers.” August 19: The research symposium to honor our beloved colleague and friend Professor Roberto Sánchez-Delgado will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016.
