Who Can Receive Personal Counseling

The Personal Counseling Program primarily serves Brooklyn College students, staff, and faculty.

We may be able to offer some general and referral information to other members of the local community. Indicate your college affiliation in your message when you e-mail us.

Note: While we attempt to respond to e-mail messages as promptly as possible, you may not receive a reply for several days. (No replies are made on weekends and holidays, for example.)  We regret that, because of the volume of messages, we cannot reply to every e-mail from those who are not affiliated with the college. Keep in mind that e-mail, while reasonably secure, is not considered to be absolutely secure and confidential. Unless encrypted, there is some risk of interception during transmission on the Internet. Use an e-mail account and content that do not identify you personally. You may prefer to call, fax, or come in person if you wish to communicate about details that you want to keep absolutely confidential.
