Resources for Undocumented Students

We Stand with Undocumented Students

Brooklyn College is dedicated to educating and advocating for all its immigrant students and families. To help you know your rights and thrive in your educational journey, we provide guidance and resources that can help you stay safe and focused no matter your citizenship status. Our staff is here for you. If you have concerns or questions, reach out to us. You are not alone—Brooklyn College stands with you. See below for a few of the measures we are taking to protect and empower our students.

  • Ensuring the removal of any identifiers in our databases that could allow any federal subpoena to quickly identify undocumented students.
  • Encouraging students to use our resources and access state financial aid programs that support eligible undocumented students.
  • Working closely with the Personal Counseling Office, CUNY Citizenship Now! Legal Program, and other offices across campus to prepare, support, and inform students on a timely basis.

Throughout its history, Brooklyn College has welcomed students excluded elsewhere, including immigrants from around the globe. We are a richer academic community because of our great diversity.
