Scholarship Opportunities

New York State Dream Act

The New York State Dream Act, also known as the Jose Peralta New York State Dream Act, is state aid financial assistance available to undocumented and immigrant students.

The Dream.US National Scholarship

Through our partnership with The Dream.US, we support students with the application process for the The Dream.US National Scholarship. This private scholarship is available to undocumented Brooklyn College students looking to finance their college education. To be eligible, applicants should be undocumented immigrant students who came to the United States before the age of 16 and before November 1, 2019. The National Scholarship award will cover tuition and fees.

Immigrants Rising: A List of Scholarships and Fellowships

These scholarships and fellowships don’t require proof of U.S. citizenship. The list has general application eligibility requirements, including education level, region/state, and immigration status (e.g., DACA, TPS, in-state tuition eligibility). Only opportunities with due dates within the next 120 days are shown in the list. Refer to the webpage linked under “Click to Apply” for the comprehensive eligibility and application requirements.
