Franklin Taveras, from the NYU School of Global Public Health, will discuss appropriate responses to the opioid crisis. This is our 3rd annual naloxone training and distribution sponsored by the Health and Natural Science department’s Center for Health Promotion.
- Learn how to respond to an overdose emergency.
- Learn about the current opioid overdose crisis, and strategies to reduce overdose.
- Be trained in overdose response.
- Free naloxone kits and drug testing strips are provided with training.
