What is White feminism and what is the alternative? Join us for a discussion between Philosophy Professor Serene Khader and students Cindy Lin and Eugene Zeus and on her recent book Faux Feminism: Why We Fall for White Feminism and How We Can Stop (Beacon 2024).

Khader holds the Jay Newman Chair in Philosophy of Culture and is professor of philosophy at Brooklyn College and the CUNY Graduate Center. She is the author of three books in feminist moral and political philosophy, and her public-facing work can be found in venues such as The New York Times and The New Republic.
