LGBTQIA+ Latinx Heritage Speaker: Ximena Ospina Vargas—Exploring the Intersectionality of LGBTQ+ Immigrants

Ximena Ospina Vargas, a prior member of the New York State Youth Leadership Council who has led UndocuQueer workshops, will talk about her experience being a trans immigrant. She was raised in New Jersey and attended Union County College before transferring to and graduating from Columbia University. In 2021 she began her legal education at CUNY School of Law and was an organizer for five years.
