Protecting Trans-Affirming Care: A Panel Discussion Featuring Kai Shappley

Join us for a powerful and timely discussion that will explore the legal, social, and personal battles surrounding trans-affirming care, with insights from activists, scholars, and community leaders.

Our panel will feature Kai Shappley, a trailblazing trans youth activist who has been speaking out against anti-trans legislation since kindergarten; Elisa Crespo, executive director of The Stonewall Foundation; and Professor of Political Science and Endowed Chair of Women’s and Gender Studies Janet Johnson.

A small reception will follow at the LGBTQ+ Resource Center.
