Are there novel ideas in your discipline that are not yet reflected in the course that you teach? Have you felt that you would like to insert some new concepts and activities into your course but don’t know how to? This workshop, led by Laura Ascenzi-Moreno (Childhood, Bilingual, and Special Education), will help you to identify the key ideas that you would like to incorporate into your class, tackle the challenges that you may face when you are trying to incorporate these, and create an actionable plan to include new concepts or activities into the course, as the first step in course redesign. Particular focus will be on small steps to redesign that center students’ needs and input.
