Does your syllabus need a tune-up? Do your assignments need adjusting? Are you reconsidering your plan for the semester now that you’ve actually started in the classroom? Drop by the CTL’s Teaching Clinic, led by Mariya Gluzman (Library/AIT,) for a syllabus review and learn some quick ways to make your course material work for you, not against you. We can help you write more effective learning outcomes that align with the major assessments in your course; make your syllabus more friendly and informative for students; tighten up reading or writing prompts that might be too wordy or difficult to understand, and include helpful information and resources for students. We will also share different resources on designing a syllabus to make it more visually appealing for future reference.
