Urban Contours: Brooklyn College Faculty Exhibition—Fall 2024 showcases the college’s Art Department faculty, exploring the ways in which these dynamic Brooklyn-rooted artists engage space, place, and objects. Featuring the diverse practices of more than 40 faculty members, Urban Contours considers the ways in which artists define, react, and respond to the vibrant city around them. Spanning mediums of painting, sculpture, photography, and new media, this exhibition inaugurates the Art Gallery at Brooklyn College, an exciting new hub for both our campus and the greater Brooklyn community. It weaves a tapestry of urban experience centered around a shared site of community at Brooklyn College.
