The GCWE hosts a range of programs, including graduate degrees, noncredit programs, ESL (English as a Second Language) courses, as well as free community events on a range of subjects of interest to the CUNY, Brooklyn College, and working communities of New York City.
In addition, standalone graduate/undergraduate courses are offered through the college’s departments and academic programs.
The GCWE hosts, in full or in part, the following programs:
The NYC Teaching Fellows programs in Special Education Teacher of Students With Disabilities Generalist (7–12) M.S.Ed. and the Special Education Teacher of Students With Disabilities in Childhood Education (grades 1–6) M.S.Ed. Admission into these programs requires application to the New York City Teaching Fellows.
The Master of Science in media studies, offered by the Brooklyn College Department of Television and Radio.
The Theater M.F.A. with a specialization in performing arts management, offered by the Brooklyn College Department of Theater.
