A virtual conversation with Barry Salzberg at the Koppelman School of Business Executive in Residence Program Kick-Off event on February 15, 2022. Hosted by Hu Qing, dean of the Koppelman School of Business, in an interactive and captivating conversation, Salzberg, a Brooklyn College alumnus and retired Global CEO of Deloitte, retraces his root in Brooklyn and his years at Brooklyn College, and offers insights on corporate leadership, career success, impact of digital technology on accounting practice and profession, and future trends in industry and economy.
On May 10, 2022, Koppelman School of Business Executive in Residence Barry Salzberg ’74, former CEO of Deloitte, hosted Kim Rivera, chief legal and business affairs officer of OneTrust, for an inspiring conversation on leadership, diversity, and careers for women in business as well as Rivera’s personal journey in the corporate world.
The program allows business students and faculty to learn from various industry executives who will lend their specialized knowledge and leadership experience in a series of guest lectures, one-on-one mentoring, consultation sessions with students and faculty, and other special events.
The Murray Koppelman School of Business welcomed Barry Salzberg ’74—the former chief executive officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd., one of the four largest international accountancy firms in the world—as its inaugural executive for its new Executive-in-Residence Program, in the spring. As part of the new program, Salzberg will help to mentor Brooklyn College business students and share his expertise to support the school.
