The Department of Puerto Rican and Latinx Studies provides students with the critical skills to navigate a diverse and globally interdependent world through the study of Latinx arts, culture, history, literature, economy, and society.
With the department’s foundational roots in student-activism, and a long-standing partnership with Brooklyn College’s Department of Childhood, Bilingual, and Special Education and the college’s many interdisciplinary departments and programs, you will gain the knowledge to position yourself for graduate study to careers in the public to private sector.
