College Courses

An excellent opportunity for students to earn up to 12 free, transferable college credits in one semester. Courses are open to qualifying 11th and 12th graders, beginning the summer after completion of the 10th grade. Courses meet on the Brooklyn College campus unless otherwise noted. • Earth and Environmental Sciences 1010: The Dynamic Earth (4 Cr.), Saturdays, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. (Satisfies CUNY Pathways Flexible Core Scientific World requirement)
• Health and Nutrition 1100: Personal and Comm. Health, Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:05–6:20 p.m.
• Music 3260: Intro. to Music Technology, Wednesdays, 3:40-6:10 p.m. or Saturdays, 10 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
• Philosophy 3306: Ethics and Society, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:05–6:20 p.m.

• Speech 211: Queensborough Introduction to Speech Communication, Saturdays, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. (Open to students with high school grade averages of 75 and over and ELA Regents scores of 70 and over. Offered at Brooklyn College for Brooklyn College College Now students by Queensborough Community College’s College Now Program.)
