The Brooklyn College Immigrant Student Success Office (ISSO) supports, advocates for, and empowers students from a variety of immigration backgrounds through an intentional philosophy of holistic support. From the time students apply through their post-graduation plans, we stand alongside them every step of the way, providing comprehensive guidance and resources to help them achieve their academic and professional aspirations.

Who We Support
ISSO proudly serves students from diverse immigration backgrounds, including:
- Undocumented students
- Recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
- Asylum seekers and refugees
- Holders of Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), U-visas, and T-visas
- Individuals protected under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
- Cuban-Haitian entrants, parolees, and those granted asylum
- Students from mixed-status families
